Inconel 600 Wire Supplier, Stockist and Exporter
Table of Contents
Aurico Alloys LLP supplies Inconel 600 wire (N06600, Werkstoff 2.4816) to ASTM B166 and AMS 5687 from Mumbai, to customers across India and in more than 40 export markets.
Most 600 wire ends up inside a furnace. It is woven into mesh conveyor belts and baskets, bent into supports that hold heating elements in place, and coiled into springs that have to keep working in heat that would relax a stainless spring. For those jobs the wire is bought on diameter tolerance and temper first, and on the certificate second.

Mechanical and Physical Properties
Properties depend on the temper ordered. Annealed wire matches annealed 600 – roughly 550–690 MPa tensile with high ductility for weaving and forming – while spring and hard-drawn tempers are far stronger and are specified for parts that must hold load. The certificate states the tensile result for the temper supplied.
Industry Applications
Why Inconel 600 wire
Wire in 600 is a heat-resisting choice, not a corrosion one. Its oxidation resistance to roughly 1090°C keeps a mesh belt or a basket from scaling apart, and its high nickel resists the carburising and nitriding atmospheres many heat-treat furnaces run. For belts and fixtures that cycle hard between hot and cold, 601 wire holds its oxide better; for springs that must carry real load at temperature, look at 718.
| Industry | Typical use |
|---|---|
| Heat treatment | Woven mesh conveyor belts, baskets and fixtures for continuous furnaces. |
| Industrial heating | Supports and hangers for heating elements. |
| Springs | Moderate-load springs working at temperatures that relax stainless spring wire. |
| Instrumentation | Tie wire and lead supports around thermocouples and sensors in hot zones. |
Testing and Certification
Every coil or spool is traceable to its heat on an EN 10204 3.1 mill test certificate stating chemical analysis and the tensile result for the temper supplied. Diameter is checked against the ordered tolerance, and positive material identification is available spool by spool. Third-party inspection can be arranged under our ISO 9001:2015 system.
