Inconel 718 Wire Supplier, Stockist and Exporter
Table of Contents
Aurico Alloys LLP supplies Inconel 718 wire (N07718, Werkstoff 2.4668) to AMS 5962 and ISO 9724, and welding wire to AMS 5832, from Mumbai to customers across India and in more than 40 export markets.
718 wire goes into springs and fasteners. AMS 5962 covers 718 round bar and wire, solution treated and work strengthened, and SAE describes it as typically used for parts such as fasteners requiring high room-temperature tensile strength. Springs for aero engines and nuclear hardware, cold-headed bolts and high-temperature fixings are the parts it is bought for.

Composition limits for Inconel 718. These are specification limits for the grade, not measured values for a lot; the mill test certificate supplied with your order states the actual analysis.
Mechanical and Physical Properties
Aged, 718 reaches around 1275 MPa tensile with yield above 1030 MPa and holds high strength to around 700°C. AMS 5962 wire is supplied solution treated and work strengthened, the condition fastener makers head and roll before ageing.
Industry Applications
Why Inconel 718 wire
A spring or a bolt is a small section carrying a high stress, and 718 carries more of it, hotter, than the annealed nickel alloys. ASTM B637 is sometimes quoted for 718 wire, but its scope is bars, forgings and forging stock – for wire, AMS 5962 is the specification. For welding, AMS 5832 is the 718 welding-wire specification; filler is certified as a welding consumable, so say at enquiry which you need.
| Industry | Typical use |
|---|---|
| Aerospace | Engine springs, cold-headed fasteners and lock wire. |
| Nuclear | Springs and fasteners in reactor hardware. |
| Oil and gas | High-strength fasteners for sour service. |
| Fabrication | Filler for welding 718, to AMS 5832. |
Testing and Certification
Every coil or spool is traceable to its heat on an EN 10204 3.1 mill test certificate stating chemical analysis, condition and the tensile result supplied. Diameter is checked against the ordered tolerance, and positive material identification, NACE MR0175 / ISO 15156 certification and third-party inspection are available under our ISO 9001:2015 system.
