Inconel 600 Coil Supplier, Stockist and Exporter
Table of Contents
Aurico Alloys LLP supplies Inconel 600 coil and slit strip (N06600, Werkstoff 2.4816) to ASTM B168 and AMS 5540 from Mumbai, to customers across India and in more than 40 export markets.
Coil is how 600 is bought when the part is made continuously: strip wound into spiral-wound gaskets for hot flanges, blanked and formed into furnace hardware, or roll-formed into heat shields. Buying in coil removes the cut-length premium and gives one consistent surface and temper along the whole run, which matters when a stamping die or a gasket winder is set up once for thousands of parts.

Mechanical and Physical Properties
Strip is supplied annealed for forming, where 600 runs roughly 550–690 MPa tensile with elongation above 35% – enough ductility for deep drawing and tight gasket winding. Cold-rolled tempers are harder and are specified where the part needs springback.
Industry Applications
Why Inconel 600 coil
In strip form 600 is chosen for heat and chlorides rather than for strength. A spiral-wound gasket on a hot, chloride-bearing flange needs a winding that will not stress-crack; a furnace part needs oxidation resistance to roughly 1090°C. 600 gives both at a lower cost than the molybdenum grades. If the part cycles hard through heating and cooling, 601 coil holds its oxide better.
| Industry | Typical use |
|---|---|
| Sealing | Winding strip for spiral-wound gaskets on high-temperature and chloride-bearing flanges. |
| Heat treatment | Muffles, retort liners, baskets and trays blanked and formed from strip. |
| Electrical and electronic | Stamped parts and element supports that must hold their shape at temperature. |
| Aerospace | Formed exhaust liners and heat shields. |
Testing and Certification
Coil is supplied with an EN 10204 3.1 mill test certificate stating heat number, chemical analysis, mechanical properties and temper. Thickness and width are checked against the order, and positive material identification is available coil by coil. Third-party inspection can be arranged under our ISO 9001:2015 system.
