Inconel 718 Tube Supplier, Stockist and Exporter
Table of Contents
Aurico Alloys LLP supplies Inconel 718 tube (N07718, Werkstoff 2.4668) to AMS 5589 and AMS 5590 from Mumbai, to customers across India and in more than 40 export markets.
Tube is the hollow form Special Metals lists for 718, under AMS 5589 and AMS 5590. It is bought where a tube has to carry high pressure or load after it has been formed and joined: 718 ages slowly enough to be welded and then heat treated without strain-age cracking, so an assembly can be made up soft and aged to full strength in its final shape.

Mechanical and Physical Properties
Solution treated and aged, 718 reaches around 1275 MPa tensile with yield above 1030 MPa, and holds high strength to around 700°C. The tube is supplied solution treated for forming and joining; the ageing cycle that develops that strength follows fabrication.
Industry Applications
Why Inconel 718 tube
Choose 718 tube when strength per kilo is the constraint – a pressure line or structural tube where an annealed alloy such as 625 would need a much heavier wall. Its sluggish ageing response is what makes it practical: bends and welds are made in the solution-treated condition, then the whole part is aged. Above about 700°C the strengthening phase coarsens, and a solid-solution grade such as 617 is the better tube.
| Industry | Typical use |
|---|---|
| Aerospace | Engine and airframe tubing that must carry load or pressure after ageing. |
| Oil and gas | High-pressure tubing where strength allows a thinner wall. |
| Power generation | Gas-turbine tubing below about 700°C. |
| Industrial | Instrument and hydraulic tubing in high-pressure service. |
Testing and Certification
Tube ships with an EN 10204 3.1 mill test certificate stating heat number, chemical analysis, condition and mechanical properties. Ultrasonic and hydrostatic testing and positive material identification are available on request, as is NACE MR0175 / ISO 15156 certification for oil and gas; third-party release can be arranged under our ISO 9001:2015 system.
