Inconel 718 Coil Supplier, Stockist and Exporter
Table of Contents
Aurico Alloys LLP supplies Inconel 718 coil, sheet and slit strip (N07718, Werkstoff 2.4668) to ASTM B670, B906 and AMS 5596 / 5597 from Mumbai, to customers across India and in more than 40 export markets.
718 strip is formed first and strengthened afterwards. Seals, brackets, flat springs, stiffeners and sheet-metal assemblies for aero engines and gas turbines are blanked and formed from solution-treated strip, welded where needed, and then aged – 718’s slow response to ageing is what lets that sequence run without strain-age cracking.

Mechanical and Physical Properties
Strip is supplied solution treated for forming. After ageing, 718 reaches around 1275 MPa tensile with yield above 1030 MPa and holds high strength to around 700°C – which is what a formed spring or seal made from strip is designed on.
Industry Applications
Why Inconel 718 coil
Strip in 718 is for parts that must be strong and are too thin to machine. A flat spring or a seal ring cannot be cut from bar economically, and an annealed alloy would not hold the load; formed 718 strip, aged after forming, does both. One caution on specifications: AMS 5950 also covers 718 sheet and strip, but for 718SPF, a superplastic-forming variant – order to AMS 5596 or 5597 for standard 718.
| Industry | Typical use |
|---|---|
| Aerospace | Seals, brackets, stiffeners and sheet-metal assemblies formed then aged. |
| Springs | Flat springs and spring washers that carry load at temperature. |
| Power generation | Gas-turbine sheet-metal parts below about 700°C. |
| Oil and gas | Formed high-strength parts for sour service. |
Testing and Certification
Coil is supplied with an EN 10204 3.1 mill test certificate stating heat number, chemical analysis, condition and mechanical properties, and can be certified to AMS 5596 or 5597. Thickness and width are checked against the order, with positive material identification and third-party inspection under our ISO 9001:2015 system.
