Inconel 718 Pipes Supplier, Stockist and Exporter
Table of Contents
Aurico Alloys LLP supplies Inconel 718 pipe and hollow sections (N07718, Werkstoff 2.4668) from Mumbai, to customers across India and in more than 40 export markets.
It is worth being clear about what 718 “pipe” is. Special Metals lists no pipe standard for alloy 718 – its hollow-product specifications are the tube standards AMS 5589 and AMS 5590. So a 718 line is normally tube sized to the bore required, and a heavy-walled hollow component is usually machined from bar or forging stock to ASTM B637 or AMS 5662. We quote whichever route fits the drawing.

Mechanical and Physical Properties
Solution treated and aged, 718 reaches around 1275 MPa tensile with yield above 1030 MPa, with high strength to around 700°C. A hollow is formed or machined in the solution-treated condition and aged afterwards, so its final strength develops in its final shape.
Industry Applications
Why Inconel 718 hollows
Few process lines are built in 718, because a pipe line rarely needs strength of that order; 625 is the usual answer for corrosive line pipe. Where 718 is right is a hollow part that must carry high load or pressure – a downhole component, a high-pressure housing, an aerospace duct – and there the question is whether tube or a part machined from bar gives the wall and tolerance the drawing needs.
| Industry | Typical use |
|---|---|
| Oil and gas | Hollow downhole and wellhead components under high load. |
| Aerospace | Hollow shafts and ducts that must be strong after ageing. |
| Power generation | High-pressure hollow parts in gas-turbine systems. |
| Industrial | High-strength hollow sections machined to drawing. |
Testing and Certification
Material ships with an EN 10204 3.1 mill test certificate stating heat number, chemical analysis, condition and mechanical properties. Ultrasonic testing and positive material identification are available on request, with NACE MR0175 / ISO 15156 certification for oil and gas and third-party inspection under our ISO 9001:2015 system.
