Inconel 601 Fittings Supplier, Stockist and Exporter
Table of Contents
Aurico Alloys LLP supplies Inconel 601 fittings (N06601, Werkstoff 2.4851) to ASTM B366 from Mumbai, to customers across India and in more than 40 export markets.
601 fittings are ordered to finish a hot line in the same alloy it was designed in. A burner assembly, a flare header or a thermal-oxidiser duct built from 601 pipe still needs elbows, tees and reducers, and a fitting in a lesser alloy is where the scale will spall and the wall thin first. Matching the fitting to the pipe keeps the oxidation life of the line even from end to end.

Mechanical and Physical Properties
Fittings are supplied annealed. Room-temperature tensile for 601 is roughly 550–760 MPa, but in hot-gas service the fitting is chosen for oxidation resistance to about 1200°C and for keeping its oxide through thermal cycling.
Industry Applications
Why Inconel 601 fittings
Fittings see the same heat as the pipe and more turbulence: the gas changes direction at every elbow, which is where erosion and oxidation meet. In 601 the aluminium-stabilised oxide stays attached through that, so the fitting lasts as long as the straight run. Buying them in 600 or stainless to save cost shortens the life of the whole line to the life of its weakest bend.
| Industry | Typical use |
|---|---|
| Petrochemical | Elbows and tees in flare and catalyst regenerator lines. |
| Environmental | Fittings on thermal oxidiser and incinerator hot-gas ducting. |
| Industrial heating | Burner manifold bends and reducers. |
| Heat treatment | Return bends and branches in furnace gas systems. |
Testing and Certification
Every fitting is marked with grade and heat number and supplied with an EN 10204 3.1 certificate. Positive material identification confirms the aluminium-bearing grade, dye-penetrant testing checks bevels and formed surfaces, and dimensions are checked against the ordered schedule. Third-party inspection is available under our ISO 9001:2015 system.
