Incoloy 925
Aurico Alloys LLP supplies Incoloy 925 as round bar, from Mumbai, India, with EN 10204 3.1 mill test certificates.
Incoloy® 925 (UNS N09925, W.Nr. 2.4852) is Incoloy 825's corrosion chemistry made age-hardenable — titanium raised to 1.9-2.4% and aluminium to 0.1-0.5%, which precipitate on ageing to give strength 825 cannot reach. It is qualified for sour service under NACE MR-01-75.
Key Properties
- Age-hardenable. Titanium 1.9-2.4% and aluminium 0.1-0.5% are the additions Incoloy 825 does not have.
- 825's corrosion base retained — nickel 42-46%, chromium 19.5-22.5%, molybdenum 2.5-3.5%, copper 1.5-3.0%.
- NACE MR-01-75 for sour service, with ASME Code Case 2218.
- Incoloy 825 is the alternative where the solution-annealed condition is enough and strength is not the constraint.
Applications
- Downhole hangers, packers and completion hardware
- Valves and fasteners in sour service
- Wellhead components
- Chemical process equipment needing strength with 825 corrosion resistance
