Super Duplex 32750
Aurico Alloys LLP supplies Super Duplex 32750 as sheet, plate and round bar, from Mumbai, India, with EN 10204 3.1 mill test certificates.
Super Duplex 32750, also written 2507, raises chromium, molybdenum and nitrogen above 2205 to push the pitting resistance equivalent into super-duplex territory. It is specified for seawater handling, chemical process equipment and chloride-bearing service.
Key Properties
- Chromium 25.8%, molybdenum 3.8% and nitrogen 0.27%, nominal — all raised above 2205, which is what takes it into super-duplex territory.
- Nickel 7.0% nominal, still well below an austenitic grade.
- Also written 2507, which is the same material.
- ASTM A240 for plate and sheet; A276 / A479 for bar; A790 / A789 for pipe and tube.
Applications
- Seawater cooling and firewater systems
- Offshore process piping and manifolds
- Desalination plant
- Chemical process equipment in chlorides
